Call To Action
We ask those who want to support reproductive justice in Texas to give their time and their money to the following reputable organizations. When you contribute to these groups, you can be sure that your efforts and your financial donations will directly empower Texans to plan and raise healthy families.
- The Lilith Fund For Reproductive Equity / The Lilith Fund assists Texans in exercising their fundamental right to abortion by removing barriers to access, with a focus on South and Central Texas.
- The Texas Equal Access Fund / The Texas Equal Access Fund provides financial assistance to low-income people who want an abortion and can’t afford it, with a focus on North and East Texas.
- Fund Texas Women / A non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas that helps women access abortion by providing practical support as well as information.
- Whole Woman’s Texas Action Fund / WWTAF’s mission is to support and aid women in their effort to obtain an abortion amidst the constraints caused by stigma.
- Jane’s Due Process / Ensuring legal representation for pregnant minors in Texas.
- The Cicada Collective / A queer and trans* people of color centered organization that aims to provide access to reproductive resources and address the immediate needs of our communities by facilitating knowledge shares, collaborating with other organizations, and providing practical abortion support (transportation, lodging, and doula services).
- The Bridge Collective / A collective of doulas trained to offer on-call emotional, physical, and informational support services to clients who are pregnant, looking for contraceptive information, adopting, seeking abortions, trying to get pregnant, and/or are new parents.
- Rise Up/Levanta Texas / A broad based coalition defending the right of all people in Texas to equal & safe healthcare and reproductive options.
- NARAL Pro-Choice Texas / The political arm of the pro-choice movement in Texas. NARAL Pro-Choice Texas uses lobbying, public policy, education and organizing to protect the full range of reproductive rights for all Texans.
- The Afiya Center / A Dallas-based non-profit reproductive justice organization founded and directed by women of color which effectively and realistically strives to decrease new HIV/AIDS infections among women of color.
